Cameron Diaz encourages women to keep pubic hair in new book

Cameron Diaz has a new book coming out and as the title points out it’s all about the body. The Body Book is Diaz’s first book and in it she talks about the idea of women having their public hair removed via laser hair removal.

No joke, Diaz feels compelled to tell women to keep their pubic hair around.

“I hear that there’s a big fad these days of young women undergoing laser hair removal on all of their lady bits,” Diaz writes.

Diaz believes that laser hair removal is “crazy” because the consequences of it “lasts forever.”

(kinda the point huh?)

“I know you may think you’ll be wearing the same style of shoes forever and the same style of jeans forever, but you won’t,” she continues. “The idea that vaginas are preferable in a hairless state is a pretty recent phenomenon, and all fads change, people.”

“Twenty years from now, you will still want to be presenting it to someone special, and it would be nice to let him or her unwrap it like the gift that it is,” she adds.

So what do you think about Cameron Diaz’s pubic hair comments? Keep the hair or let it go. Either way let em unwrap it… right?

According to the Duck Commander Web site, “Terms of the multi-year agreement will include focus on the family’s passion of waterfowl hunting, promotion of the shooting sports and family values as well as a series of Mossberg ‘Duck Commander’ firearms.”

In the video below you will hear Phil Robertson, who started ‘Duck Commander’ over 40 years ago cite lines from the Declaration of Independance. He then says, “You know what makes me happy ladies and gentlemen? To blow a mallard drake’s head smooth off.”

The Duck Commander guns will come in a “waterfowl pattern” camouflage design, and feature the ‘Duck Commander’ logo of a duck in flight. The firearms will all come with an American flag bandana “like the one worn by Willie,” a character on the show.

No official release date has been announced but some of the shotguns have shipped out to distributors.

It took 47 years but Phil Robertson gave his wife Miss Kay a wedding ring. On Christmas the Duck Dynasty star gave his wife a wedding ring.

It’s been a wild two weeks for Phil but on Friday A&E released a statement saying he would return to the show Duck Dynasty when filming resumed in the spring. Previously he had been placed on suspension for “anti-gay” comments.

Granddaughter Sadie Robertson tweeted out a photo of Phil and Miss Kay with the ring.

Kelly Brook lists top moments of 2013

kellybrook

2013 is almost over and Kelly Brook is like many people this time of year. Thinking back about what they did in the last 365 days.

Of course I’d venture to say that Brook’s year was a little better than most reading this.

On Twitter today Brook, 34, said her kiss with Holly Willoughby on an episode of Celebrity Juice in May was one of her top moments.

Brook also listed meeting Baby Spice Emma Bunton, making a movie and becoming a godmother as top moments of the year.

We are a little bummed that lifting weights did not crack the list. Dang.

So does anyone have any favorite moments of 2013 they would like to share?

Phil Robertson welcomed back to Duck Dynasty by A&E

0

duckdynasty

Phil Robertson will be back on Duck Dynasty when filming resumes this spring after A&E released a statement on Friday. In short A&E feels that the show Duck Dynasty is bigger than just the views of Phil and now want to promote unity among all people.

As a global media content company, A+E Networks’ core values are centered around creativity, inclusion and mutual respect. We believe it is a privilege for our brands to be invited into people’s home and we operate with a strong sense of integrity and deep commitment to these principals.

Robertson was placed on suspension after comments from an upcoming GQ article became public on Dec. 18. Some viewed the comments by Robertson as anti-gay.

The rest of the statement reads as follows:

That is why we reacted so quickly and strongly to a recent interview with Phil Robertson. While Phil’s comments made in the interview reflect his personal views based on his own beliefs, and his own personal journey, he and his family have publicly stated they regret the “coarse language” he used and the mis-interpretation of his core beliefs based only on the article. He also made it clear he would “never incite or encourage hate.” We at A+E Networks expressed our disappointment with his statements in the article, and reiterate that they are not views we hold.

But Duck Dynasty is not a show about one man’s views. It resonates with a large audience because it is a show about family… a family that America has come to love. As you might have seen in many episodes, they come together to reflect and pray for unity, tolerance and forgiveness. These are three values that we at A+E Networks also feel strongly about.

So after discussions with the Robertson family, as well as consulting with numerous advocacy groups, A&E has decided to resume filming Duck Dynasty later this spring with the entire Robertson family.

We will also use this moment to launch a national public service campaign (PSA) promoting unity, tolerance and acceptance among all people, a message that supports our core values as a company, and the values found in Duck Dynasty. These PSAs will air across our entire portfolio.

Feel free to share your thoughts on the reinstatement of Phil in our comments section!

Duck Dynasty family releases statement regarding Phil Robertson

duckdynasty

The crew from Duck Dynasty released the following statement only a day after the fall out from dad Phil Robertson’s comments regarding his beliefs on homosexuals in GQ Magazine.

On Tuesday their network, A&E, announced they had indefinitely suspended Robertson from the popular television show, ‘Duck Dynasty.’

Duck Dynasty Statement:

We want to thank all of you for your prayers and support. The family has spent much time in prayer since learning of A&E’s decision. We want you to know that first and foremost we are a family rooted in our faith in God and our belief that the Bible is His word. While some of Phil’s unfiltered comments to the reporter were coarse, his beliefs are grounded in the teachings of the Bible. Phil is a Godly man who follows what the Bible says are the greatest commandments: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart” and “Love your neighbor as yourself.” Phil would never incite or encourage hate.We are disappointed that Phil has been placed on hiatus for expressing his faith, which is his constitutionally protected right. We have had a successful working relationship with A&E but, as a family, we cannot imagine the show going forward without our patriarch at the helm. We are in discussions with A&E to see what that means for the future of Duck Dynasty. Again, thank you for your continued support of our family.

What do you think this means for the family and for the show going forward? What do you think about the fall out from Robertson’s comments? Sound off below and let us know!
