Dong Nguyen, the developer of mobile title Flappy Bird, says he’s removing his game from Apple’s App Store and Google Play.
Flappy Bird has risen to game over the last week but Nguyen says he plans to remove the game from downloadable content. Nguyen announced the news via twitter and said he was not interested in selling it.
“I cannot take this anymore,” he says.
Flappy Bird has soared to the top of the Free Games charts on both iTunes and Google Play.
The simplistic game features a bird that must navigate through a series of pipes. Contact with anything ends the game.
