Paul Walker, who rose to fame in with “The Fast & the Furious” move franchise, has died as the result of a fiery car collision in Southern California. Walker was 40 years old.
The news of Walker’s death was confirmed on his twitter account.

Walker was attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car.
An official statement from the actors camp read:
“We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news,” the statement continued. “Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences.”
The identify of the second victim has not been released though he is a male.

According to witnesses, the red Porsche carrying Walker and his friend lost control and slammed into a tree and then a light pole.
When police arrived the car with Walker was engulfed in flames.
