The sprained neck of of Jacob Trouba could keep the Winnipeg Jets defenseman out for as long as a month.
Trouba left Friday nights game on a stretcher and initially could not move his limbs. He was released from the hospital after x-rays and other tests were conducted and took to twitter to thank fans for their support.
Thanks for the support. If you were wondering, the boards are not edible. I'll be back soon. #gojetsgo

Trouba will be in a brace for at least two weeks after missing a check and going face first into the boards.
The Jets have already placed the 19-year-old rookie on injured reserve and called up Adam Pardy from the AHL’s St. John’s IceCaps.
