Sam Bradford unsure of future with Eagles

Sam Bradford will be a free agent after this season and the quarterback is unsure about his future with the Philadelphia Eagles.

“I’ll think about that in the offseason,” Bradford said about re-signing with the Eagles via the Philadelphia Inquirer. “I’m not too worried about what’s going to happen three or four months down the line. We’ve got a big game this weekend against Arizona, that’s what I want to focus on.”

Eagles coach Chip Kelly has said he wanted to team to sign Bradford to a long-term extension. He is currently making $13 million in the final year of his rookie contract.

The chances of Bradford making it to free agency are 50/50 at best. If the Eagles want him and he is open to a return it is hard to see the two sides not working out a deal. Even with some uncertainty there are few teams which offer a better opportunity for a quarterback in free agency or the draft this coming year than the Eagles.

Bradford has completed a career high 63.2% of his passes in the 11 games he has played in this season.
