The Dallas Cowboys have waived quarterback Kellen Moore.
Moore, 26, was added to the active roster back in September when Tony Romo went down but he never got to play. He’s yet to attempt a regular season pass.
Even with Matt Cassel and Brandon Weeden both failing to produce points, Moore was never an option. Now that Romo is expected back in Week 11 the team can go ahead and let Moore go. There is a good chance the Cowboys add him to the practice squad should he clear waivers.
