The Indianapolis Colts are the latest team to try and fail to lure journeyman quarterback Jason Campbell out of retirement.
With Andrew Luck out the next four to six weeks the Colts are desperate for a body behind 40-year-old Matt Hasselbeck.
Campbell has been little more than a veteran pulse on a team but the Colts believed he was the best option available despite being out of action all year. That alone speaks volumes about what is left on the market.
Jason Campbell has rebuffed Colts overtures to bring him in. Not going to happen. He's essentially retired

In parts of four games last season Campbell was 11 of 19 for 74 yards with the Cincinatti Bengals.
The Colts will need to add someone ahead of their Week 11 game against the Atlanta Falcons. Expect Christain Ponder, Ryan Mallet and others to get a call this week.
