It is no secret that Kyle Shanahan has been looking at his options for the 2015 season. The son of Mike Shanahan, Kyle has been receiving interest as a head coach and offensive coordinator.

While trading the Browns offensive coordinator duties for those of another falls short of a head coaching job, its something that the younger Shanahan will entertain because he simply wants out of Cleveland.

Mary Kay Cabot of the Plain Dealer reports that Shanahan wants away from the Browns because of ongoing friction between the front office and the coaching staff. If that is the case it would jive with everything else that has happened in Cleveland under owner Jimmy Haslam in recent years.

Numerous teams are in on father mike making it likely that the younger Shanahan follows him in an offensive coordinator role. They worked together in Washington for four years before being fired following a power struggle with the front office over quarterback Robert Griffin III.
