Kirk Cousins wants out of Washington if Robert Griffin named starter

Kirk Cousins began the 2014 season as the backup for the Redskins, by the time the year was over he was third on the depth chart at quarterback.

Cousins replaced an injured Robert Griffin III early in the year and put together six strong quarters before defenses figured him out. His struggles were well documented this year – winning just one of five games as a starter – and third string Colt McCoy bypassed him by the end of the year.

Apparently Cousins either thinks more of himself or simply is tired of the dog and pony show in Washington. He wants out requesting a trade if Griffin is named the teams starter. Given Cousins struggles over the last two seasons the Redskins would be fortunate to pick up a seventh round pick for him.
