Speaking to reporters on Monday, Browns rookie quarterback Johnny Manziel denied throwing a party on Friday night that resulted in him being late for treatment on his hamstring.

For the second time in as many weeks Manziel is claiming he is ready to be responsible.

“It’s about action,” Manziel said. “It’s about being accountable, and doing what (I say I’m going to do) instead of looking like a jackass.”

Following the Browns season ending loss Browns owner Jimmy Haslam spoke about players needing to grow up.

“Either I’m going to learn, or I’m going to be finding something else to do.”

Whether or not Manziel is the Browns starter next season remains to be seen.
