The Cowboys will not have linebacker Rolando McClain for their season finale against the Redskins.
McClain, 25, has seen a career resurgence since joining the Cowboys but he did not travel with the club to Washington.
The Cowboys have locked up the third seed in the NFC and will host a playoff game next week – unless things get crazy and they somehow get a bye.
McClain is dealing with an illness that he came down on Friday night. There simply no reason to push things.
