Manti Te’o is ready for people to move past the girlfriend jokes. It has been two years since it came out that Te’o and his fake girlfriend were in the public eye.
Niners tackle Anthony Davis made a joke to Te’o last week and Te’o was none too amused.
“I got harassed a few times last year (on the field). I expected that. But this year?” Te’o said Monday via the San Diego Union Tribune. “I told him, ‘Find a new joke.’ ”
There is not much else to say here. The Chargers rallied to a win last Thursday and can claim a playoff berth with a win over the Chiefs on Sunday.
