The Buffalo Bills will keep Kyle Orton as their starter in Week 17.
Orton will stay under center while E.J. Manuel sits on the bench. There was some thought that the Bills would take Week 17 as a chance to see if Manuel had anything to offer them.
While Orton has an option for 2015 there is a good chance the Bills void it. He has little to offer the Bills anymore now that they are out of the playoff picture and his play has regressed.
Doug Marrone: QB Kyle Orton will start Sunday. "We'll play the players who give us the best chance to win … It's how I'm wired"

The Bills have a nice roster of young players so they will almost surely be seeking an upgrade this offseason either via the draft or a trade.
In 11 games Orton has completed 63.9 perecent of his passes for 2842 yards with a 17:10 touchdown to interception ratio. That ratio is just 5:7 over his last four games however.
