Doug Martin has been injured and ineffective this season. That has him as the third horse in a two-back rotation for the Buccaneers as Week 10 arrives.
Bobby Rainey is the lead back and Charles Sims is fresh off of injured reserve.
Picking up just 3.36 yards-per-carry following a monster rookie campaign, Martin has hampered the Buccaneers offense. Martin was clearly on the trade block prior to the deadline but no one was willing to take a gamble on him.
Martin has picked up 166 yards on 28 carries, an average of 2.9 yards per carry this season.
