While speaking to reporters on Tuesday, Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said that running back DeAngelo Williams would make the start in Thursday’s game against the New Orleans Saints.
Williams has missed the last four weeks with an ankle injury and how much playing time he gets in the game will be up for debate.

In two games this season the 31-year-old Williams has run 25 imes for 106 yards (4.2 average). He has yet to catch a pass.
The Saints have held opponents to just 101.1 yards rushing per game, 10th best in the league.
