A day after a surprising win over the Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins head coach Jay Gruden said that the team will not rush Robert Griffin III back to the field.
It is easy for Gruden to say that now that Colt McCoy gave the impression that he can be serviceable for Sunday’s game against Minnesota.
Gruden maintains "No matter what happens" they won't rush Griffin back to action, whether McCoy plays well or not. Still waiting on docs

Gruden said that Griffin is “very, very, very close,” and said that the team will re-evaluate him after practice on Wednesday.
At 3-5 the Redskins have one more game before their bye week. While the time table for Griffin’s return has been all over the place a return after the bye week has always been on the table.
