The Bears are a touchdown underdog on the road against the 49ers but that was prior to word coming out that wide receivers Brandon Marshall and Alshon Jeffery were “75 percent” certain to miss the Sunday night tilt from ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
If Marshall and/or Jeffery were to play then quarterback Jay Cutler would have two tall targets against a banged up 49ers secondary but as it is both are game-time decisions.
Major questions about Bears WRs, Marshall and Jeffery. One source said "75 percent" sure neither plays tonight. Bears signed two PS WRs Sat.

Jeffery was able to do some limited practice on Friday while Marshall missed the entire week. If both are truly out then Santonio Holmes would be the Bears No. 1 option in the passing game. This would also suggest an uptick in production for running back Matt Forte and potentially for tight end Martellus Bennett.
