The Indianapolis Colts claimed former starter A.Q. Shipley off waivers this weekend with the intention to start him.
Shipley was let go by the Baltimore Ravens but becomes the center in Indianapolis with Khaled Holmes sidelined with a high-ankle sprain. With Homes out for week 1 the Colts will allow Shipley to start in his second go around with the team. He started nine games for the Ravens last season after making five starts for the Colts a year prior.
For those wondering, the Colts offensive line currently projects as LT Anthony Castonzo, LG Jack Mewhort, C Shipley, RG Hugh Thornton, RT Gosder Cherilus.
