The Tennessee Titans have moved rookie Bishop Sankey up to the No. 2 spot on the depth chart at running back.
Sankey remains behind Shonn Green but is now ahead of Dexter McCluster. All three backs figure to get a share of the carries for the Titans as the season beings with Green getting the most for now.
While there were some concerns about Sankey’s ability to hold onto the football at the beginning of the preseason the Titans are slowly showing more confidence in him.
The former Washington Huskie had a big game in the Titans fourth preseason matchup against Minnesota when he ran seven times for 43 yards.
