Arizona Cardinals head coach Bruce Arians told reporters on Monday that defensive back Tyrann Mathieu would have to play in the teams preseason finale in order to be activce for Week 1.

Just a week ago Mathieu was cleared for 11-on-11 drills.
Until Week 1 comes theres no clear way to know what is right and what is not with Mathieu. Should he not play on Thursday it is hard to imagine the Cardinals keeping him out of action if he practices leading up to Week 1.
