Johnny Manziel made his first NFL appearance with the Cleveland Browns on Saturday night. Coming in for Brian Hoyer, Manziel showed off his running ability – something that SEC defenses have gotten to see over the last two seasons.

Facing a 3rd and 8, Manziel used his legs to pick up a first down in the second half of Saturday’s preseason opener.

Prior to the game the Browns announced that Manziel would start their second preseason game.

Getting the start Hoyer was just 6-of-14 for 92 yards.

Manziel finished the night 7-of-11 for 63 yards passing. He added 27 yards on the ground on six runs with the longest being the 16 yard scamper for a first down.
