The Chicago Bears and Cleveland Browns have both shown interest in free agent wide receiver Santonio Holmes.
Holmes, 30, has been out of work since being released by the New York Jets in March. He worked out for the Bears on Tuesday.
The Bears are looking for depth after No. 3 wideout Marquess Wilson suffered a broken clavicle in practice this week. Wilson is out indefinitely.
Meanwhile the Browns are still unsure of the status of Josh Gordon and without him would have have Miles Austin penciled in as their top receiver.
Homes caught 23 passes for 456 yards and a touchdown last season with the Jets.
