The Green Bay Packers are still working on trying to extend wide receiver Jordy Nelson reports ESPN’s Rob Demovsky in a recent mail bag column.
Nelson, 29, is in the final year of his contract and is owed $2.55 million for the 2014 season.
The sky is the limit for Nelson who has been one of the NFL’s premier receivers the last few seasons with a new contract potentially paying him $10 million annually.
Nelson caught 85 passes for 1,314 yards and eight touchdowns in 2013. With Aaron Rodgers back healthy those numbers will again be within reach for Nelson this coming season.
