Free agent tight end Jermichael Finley visited the New England Patriots on Friday.
Finley, 27, recently was cleared to return to football activities as he recovers from neck surgery. Whether or not Finley could pass an NFL physical remains to be seen.

The Seattle Seahawks bowed out of the bidding for Finely on Friday. Other teams who are considered potential landing spots for Finley are the New York Giants and the Green Bay Packers for whom he played for from 2008-2013.
Finley has 223 career receptions for 2,785 yards and 20 touchdowns in 70 career games.
The Patriots have been linked to former New York Jets tight end Dustin Keller. Much like Finley, Keller is also coming off a surgery as he tore three ligaments in his knee last summer.
