Andy Reid took his cheeseburger act to Kansas City last year in a move that saw the Chiefs return to the playoffs and a career season out of quarterback Alex Smith.
Smith recently appeared on NFL.com’s What up, Pro? and was asked to talk about 2013 season. While Smith did not have any superstitions he did spill the beans on Reid.
“He’s a big cheeseburger guy,” Smith said. “He’s always treating us to cheeseburgers.”
And to earn a cheeseburger?
“Just be on the team.” said the quarterback who is still looking for a long-term deal.”He’ll treat you to a cheeseburger.”
If cheeseburgers had anything to do with the success of the Chiefs last year we can only assume that there will be even more in 2014.
