The Cleveland Browns are becoming known for their secondary and that is largely due to the presence of cornerback Joe Haden. On Wednesday the team reached agreement with Haden on a five-year extension though the 2019 season.
Haden was the seventh overall pick in the 2010 NFL Draft. Mike Garafolo reports that Haden’s new deal is worth $45 million guaranteed and $68 million overall, each number surpasses the recent deal between Richard Sherman and the Seattle Seahawks.
To recap: $68 million over 5-yr extension through 2019 with $45 million in gtd $ for Browns' Joe Haden. (Deleted prev tweet to not confuse)
