Richard Sherman’s new deal with the Seattle Seahawks will make him the NFL’s highest paid corner.
Sherman’s new four-year deal is worth $57.4 million of which $40 million is guaranteed. The new deal can keep Sherman in Seattle for the next five seasons as he will make $1.389 million this season in the final year of his rookie contract.

Seattle will get Sherman’s best years as he will be 31 before he can hit free agency again. Still, even then he stands to land a substantial deal if his level of play remains near where it is today.
