The Indianapolis Colts have added linebacker D’Qwell Jackson to their roster giving the 30-year old a four-year deal worth $22 million with $11 million guaranteed.

Jackson was released by the Browns a week ago as the team got out from paying a $4.1 million bonus and saved $5.23 million against the cap. In Indianapolis he will be reunited with former Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski. Trent Richardson is also on the Colts roster.

He immediately began visiting teams which included Tennessee, Denver and Miami. In the end the Colts offered the most for the player who led the Browns in tackles in each of the last three seasons. He has also picked up 8.5 sacks over that time.

The problem for Jackson and the Colts is that he struggles against the run, something the Colts have also struggled with for years. Still, Jackson should prove to be a nice pairing with Jerelle Freeman on a Colts team that is desperate for talent.
