Baltimore Ravens running back and his fiancee Janay Palmer are staying together and are planning to attend a couples seminar according to Ravens head coach John Harbaugh.
Harbaugh said via ESPN that Rice is “doing everything he can” to “make things right.”
Rice and Palmer were arrested for simple assault at a Atlantic City, N.J., casino on Feb. 15.
“I’ve talked to Ray a lot, and really nothing to add other than what’s been said already: The facts will determine the consequences, and we’ll see where it goes,” Harbaugh said at a press conference to announce Dennis Pitta’s new deal. “I haven’t seen anything different, just like you haven’t seen anything different. Ray has told me his side of it, and everything we’ve seen so far is very consistent with what he said.”
The NFL is reviewing Rice’s conduct and could opt to suspend him for the start of the season.
