Former New England Patriots tight-end Aaron Hernandez, who is being charged in the murder of Odin Lloyd is sitting in jail awaiting his future as police gather evidence against the 23 year old.
In a photo released Thursday from Hernandez’s home surveillance cameras, show Hernandez holding what appears to be a gun only minutes after Odin Lloyd was shot.
Lloyd was found shot five times in an industrial park a half mile from Hernandez’s home in North Attleborough, Mass.
Prosecutors said Hernandez tampered with the surveillance camera in an attempt to erase evidence, but failed in some instances.
The surveillance system, search warrant affidavits said, was installed at the direction of Hernandez’s fiancee, Shayanna Jenkins. The technician told investigators he showed Hernandez how to disable specific cameras by disconnecting wires. He said he labeled each wire so Hernandez could disconnect cameras at locations throughout the house when and where he wanted.
