New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick may have plans for Tim Tebow outside of the quarterback position.
Signed by the Patriots it is unclear what Tebow’s official duties will be on game day. The Patriots were said to be focused on using Tebow exclusively as a quarterback but those plans may be shifting.
While praising the effort given by Tebow thus far Belichick did not rule out using Tebow at positions other then quarterback.
Belichick on where Tebow will play: “We’ll use Tim wherever we feels it’s best for the team. … He’s got a great work ethic. Great.”

The New York Jets talked about using Tebow as a wild cat player but did not allow him to throw the ball. In New York his biggest contributions came on punt blocking.
With the loss of Aaron Hernandez there could be playing time on the field for Tebow as a tight end or H-back. However, with so much time til Week 1 there is no guarantee that Tebow will even be on the roster when the season starts.
