The New York Jets will continue to employ Braylon Edwards. On Wednesday the team reached agreement with Edwards on a one-year deal.

In need of help in their receiving corps the Jets had recently hosted Austin Collie and Laurent Robinson for workouts. Rather then offer either player a contract the Jets have opted to bring back Edwards.

Last season Edwards appeared in three games for the Jets catching ten passes for 125 yards, he also spent time with Seattle catching eight passes for 74 yards there. Right now Edwards is in prime position to be a starting wide receiver for the Jets in Week 1.

The Jets are currently without Santonio Holmes who is out due to Lisfanc surgery.
