Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III has been cleared to practice, according to a tweet the QB made on his account Monday morning.

Griffin underwent knee surgery on his shredded right anterior cruciate and lateral collateral ligaments Jan. 8. He insisted that when the Redskins broke mini-camp in June that he would be ready to play at the start of training camp in Richmond, Va.
The Redskins report to training camp at Richmond, Va. this week. The team’s primary concern is having him ready for Opening Day.
