Country star Kenny Chesney spent a day with the Seattle Seahawks prior to his Saturday night gig at CenturyLink Field.
“I met [Seattle coach] Pete [Carroll] a couple years ago,” Chesney explained to Country Weekly. “We kept in touch, and he asked me if I’d like to work out with the team.”
Chesney took part in offensive drills with the wide receivers.
Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson took time to throw to the country star.
“To feel the intensity of an NFL training camp and out to be out there running those drills . . . you get a sense of how much focus and heart goes into preparing to do what they’re going to do all season,” Chesney said.
