DeSean Jackson has fired his agent according to the NFL Network’s Albert Breer. Jackson has been represented by Drew Rosenhaus since he arrived in the NFL in 2008.

There has been no indication for the reason that Jackson has fired Rosenhaus but his five-year, $47 million contract signed last season does not contain any guaranteed money past this year.

Jackson is in a make or break year and will need to flourish in Chip Kelly’s offense if he wants to stick around in Philadelphia.

Only once in his five year career has Jackson appeared in all 16 games, that coming in his rookie season in 2008. Last season Jackson caught 45 passes for 700 yards and two touchdowns – all career lows.
