Dez Bryant made a surprise appearance at a rally for “Men Against Abuse” on Saturday. The event featured former Cowboys Emmitt Smith and Roger Staubach as well as executive vice president Stephen Jones.

The arrival of Bryant was unknown to anyone until Bryant was brought onstage by Jones. According to the Dallas Morning News the Cowboys wide receiver gave a short speech and said he was focusing on football.

“Here’s all you need to know. I’m done with domestic abuse.” said Bryant after the event.

Bryant had a confrontation in 2012 with his mother but charges were later dismissed.

Josh Brent also was at the event. Brent is still facing intoxication manslaughter charges after a crash that killed friend and former teammate Jerry Brown. He did not speak at the event.
