J’Marcus Webb arrested for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia

A member of the Chicago Bears offensive line was arrested Sunday for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. He was caught speeding 11 miles over the posted speed limit of 65.

After Webb posted bail he was released. He has a court date in March.
Webb has struggled to make an impact on the Bears. He is signed for $1.323 million this coming season so his roster spot is unlikely to be in danger due to the arrest.
UPDATE: Prosecutors will not pursue this case so Webb is off the hook on all counts.
