The Tampa Bay Buccaneers will play against the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday. FOX will carry the game which is scheduled for a 1 pm EST kickoff from the Georgia Dome in Atlanta, GA.

The game could be considered meaningless. Atlanta is guaranteed to go into the playoffs as the top seed in the NFC, win or lose. Tampa Bay was eliminated from the playoffs weeks ago and has lost their last five games.

What is the points spread in the Buccaneers and Falcons game? The Falcons and Buccaneers is not on any boards right now.

TB
ATL
W-L 6-9 13-2
Avg Points 24.5 26.8
Avg Points Allowed 25.1 18.5
Home Record 3-5 7-0
Road Record 3-4 6-2

The Falcons will be hoping for some momentum going into the playoffs. They are 0-3 in the playoffs with the combination of head coach Mike Smith and quarterback Matt Ryan. Ryan tied a career high with 4 touchdowns in last weeks 34-0 win against the New York Giants. He needs one touchdown in his game to set the Falcons season record with 32 touchdown passes.

Tampa Bay is trying to figure out if Josh Freeman is the right quarterback for their team. While that jury may still be out the verdict is in at running back. Rookie sensation Doug Martin is third in the NFL in yards from scrimmage with 1,766.

Atlanta  is going for its 12th consecutive victory at the Georgia Dome and first 8-0 home record in 14 years.

Sadly for the Buccaneers their only highlight of late will not be in town.
