Devin Hester leaves game with concussion

The Chicago Bears will be without wide receiver Devin Hester for the remainder of their game against the Minnesota Vikings. Hester was checked out in the locker room and deemed to have suffered a concussion.

Losing Hester will further put a strain on an already thin crop of receivers for the Bears. Alshon Jeffery was out for the game and Dane Sanzenbacher is  inactive.

Hester was replaced by Eric Weems in three receiver sets. Weems also will take over the kick return duties for the remainder of the day. Hester did not catch a pass during his time in the game and returned one kickoff for six yards.

Bears quarterback Jay Culter missed last weeks game after suffering a concussion against the Houston Texans.
