A day after there was speculation that Jameis Winston would return to the Florida State Seminoles for the 2015 season his father says the quarterback will enter the NFL Draft.
Antonor Winston says his son had planned to wait until after the College Football Playoff had completed before announcing but came to a solid decision on Tuesday to enter the draft reports ESPN.
The Heisman winner from a year ago is considered among the top two quarterbacks in this year’s draft along with Oregon’s Marcus Mariota, who won the Heisman this year.
A formal announcement from Winston is expected later on Wednesday.
