Reports of Everett Golson leaving Notre Dame are untrue according to George Whitfield Jr.
Golson is scheduled to graduate in May meaning if he were to transfer he would be allowed to start immediately at any school. The hot rumor the last few days was that Golson was heading to LSU because the Fighting Irish were on track to start Malik Zaire next season at quarterback.

We would not place too much stock into Whitfield’s report. Golson, much like Jeff Driskel, has no need to hang around as a team’s No. 2 option.
