The number of signed Jameis Winston items in the James Spence Authentication database has topped 2,000.

According to ESPN, Spence will not reveal who submitted the signed Winston items for authentication or how many exist within his database. While Spence says he has no knowledge of whether or not Winston was paid he stands by his company’s opinion that the signatures are real.

Currently no one is alleging that Winston was paid for his signature which can be found on items on eBay which include mini-helmets, jersey numbers and photos.

Georgia’s Todd Gurley was suspended indefinitely after a memorabilia dealer came forward alleging that he had paid the running back thousands of dollars over the last 18 months.

Earlier this week Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher said he had no concern over the status of Winston.
