Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher is not concerned that quarterback Jameis Winston could miss Saturday’s game against No. 5 Notre Dame.

Asked why he had no concern about Winston, Fish replied “I know the facts of the case. The facts haven’t changed in the case. We know the report and know everything out there. There’s nothing new out there. We’ve been through this.”

Winston did not miss any games following a 2013 investigation and later went on to win the Heisman Trophy guiding the Seminoles to an undefeated season and a national championship.

“Read the reports and read what’s there,” Fisher said, via ESPN. “The facts are the facts. I see stories written that don’t have all the facts and taint them toward their side. This country is based on being innocent until proven guilty, not guilty until proven innocent. I don’t want [any victims] … but there is no victim because there was no crime. We’re [publicly] convicting a guy over things that are not true based on evidence. There is no evidence.”

FSU is being investigated to ensure they carried out mandatory Title IX responsibilities. Winston is being investigated for allegedly receiving money for autographs.
