Former Florida quarterback Tyler Murphy has enrolled at Boston College and will be eligible to play immediately as a fifth-year graduate transfer.
Murphy started six games for the Gators in 2013. The move to Boston College will reunite him with head coach Steve Addazio who was instrumental in him going to Florida.
Murphy threw for 1,216 yards and six touchdowns last season while the Gators went 2-4 in his six starts before spraining his shoulder and sitting out the seasons last three games.
Boston College was 7-6 in 2013.
