Few bowl games have created the buzz that this one has. Texas A&M was left out of a BCS bowl after finishing behind three other SEC teams. Oklahoma split the Big XII with Kansas State but saw their BCS bowl homes squashed when Northern Illinois earned a birth by finishing 15th in the rankings.

Texas A&M quarterback Johnny Manziel won the Heisman Trophy and the AP Player of the Year award. The Aggies offense will filter though him, their 44.8 points per game is 4th best in the nation. With those types of stats as a freshman the sky is the limit for the Aggies next season.

That is not to say that Oklahoma is a slough. Landry Jones has shown to be a star at times scoring 40.3 points per game, 9th best in the nation. Jones set a school record with 554 yards against West Virginia and later became the Big XII’s all time leading passer.
