Joe Gibbs Racing driver, Kyle Busch had a few choice words for Ryan Newman on Sunday at the running of the Camping World RV Sales 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. Busch was upset after Newman was involved in a wreck with his older brother, Kurt Busch.

“I really hated that Kurt got tore up,” Kyle Busch told reporters after finishing second. “I felt like he had the best car. And was proud of them guys but, man, just stupidity.

“I mean Ryan Newman’s the biggest stupid idiot out here, and he’s a big ogre and can do whatever he wants because he can probably kick anybody’s butt. So no sense in getting in a fight with him, but glad he’s out of a job.”

On Monday, Newman chatted on SIRIUS radio and was asked if he had anything to say about Sunday’s comments.

Busch’s comment regarding Newman being able to kick anybody’s butt was brought up, and Newman replied, “I’m just afraid if I re-arranged his face I might fix it.”

“He’s frustrated finishing third or wherever he was after hitting me first and then getting a little rub down the straightaway, then just imagine how I feel. It is what it is. We know that he’s not very bright. He’s a heck of a talent but he’s not very bright. And I’ll leave it at that.”

Newman goes on to say that he thinks the wreck with both Matt Kenseth and Kurt Busch was strictly a racing incident and he didn’t understand why Kyle had flack with him.
