Billy Currington will not perform pre-race activities for next month’s NASCAR Sprint All-Star race.
Currington was charged Thursday with making terroristic threats and abuse of an elderly person. He was released from a Georgia jail after posting a $27,700 bond.
Currington faces up to five years of prison time under state law.
Josh Turner will replace Currungton for the pre-race concert on Mary 18.
Currington’s hits include “Pretty Good At Drinkin’ Beer,” “That’s How Country Boys Roll” and “People Are Crazy.”
