Jimmie Johnson won Sunday’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race from Atlanta Motor Speedway.
The driver of the No. 48 Lowes Chevrolet took the checkered flag at the 1.54-mile track located in Hampton, GA finishing ahead of Kevin Harvick and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Beginning the Quik Trip 500 on the pole was Joey Logano but it was rain that pushed the start of the race back.
The win all but locks Johnson into the Chase and is the 71st of his career.
