Corey Hart to miss 3-4 months after knee surgery

Mat Gamel will play firstbase to start the season for the Milwaukee Brewers. Corey Hart is expected to miss three to four months after having surgery on his injured right knee.

Hart began having trouble with his knee this offseason and an MRI later revealed a defect in the joint surface.

Losing Hart will take a toll on the Brewers offense, he compiled a .270/.334/.507 line last season while hitting 30 home runs.
