The White Sox have agreed to terms on a four-year contract with free agent All-Star catcher Yasmani Grandal.
Grandal, 31, hit a career-high 28 home runs, with 77 RBI, 79 runs scored and 109 walks for Milwaukee in 2019, making his second career National League All-Star Team.
Ken Williams on what signing Yasmani Grandal means for 2020 — and beyond: “It’s clearly we’re trying to put ourselves in a window that could very well start next year but extend to the next five to seven years.”
